Hi! I’m Dr. Parisa Shahidi, D.C. I'm a chiropractor focused on diagnosing the root cause of your pain to promote long-term healing. Each treatment plan is custom tailored to your needs; a mixture of adjustments, soft tissue release, and rehab exercises. I'm passionate about my patients feeling heard, feeling better, and feeling empowered over their own health.
My approach to examination and treatment is evidence-based and combines elements of eastern and western medicine. I studied chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences, graduating cum laude in 2019; and earned my bachelor's degree from University of California, Irvine, in pre-medical biological sciences.
While I'm trained in treating the whole body, some of my specialties include disc issues, shoulder injuries, and pregnancy care. I specialize in Active Release Technique, Webster (pre/peri-natal adjustments), and functional medicine.
I also work extensively with baseball pitchers, aiding them in their recovery and optimization during training, treating players post surgeries, as well as creating functional assessments and phased rehab/PT training protocols to address performance goals.
I am also a YogaWorks trained yoga instructor with emphasis on breath, restoratives, meditation, and yin. I love to travel, read, and bake. I speak English, Farsi, and Spanish.
