Mechanical traction has been clinically shown to improve symptoms in patients who experience nerve pain from conditions such as radiculopathy, or intervertebral disc pathologies such as compression, herniations, or irritated nerve roots. It is most effective when done in rounds of 4-16 sessions spaced out over 4-10 weeks, as discs need time and repetition to regain their height and resorb hydration.
Decompression is available during sessions or as separate packages.
Therapeutic Ultrasound
Therapeutic ultrasound treats musculoskeletal pain by using high-frequency sound waves to stimulate tissues and increase energy production, thus increasing blood flow to the area. This helps to reduce inflammation and to provide pain relief. It can target both superficial and deep tissue, and is used for both acute and chronic conditions. This can be requested during the 60 min sessions.
Class IV Laser
This highest class of laser available, this uses light waves to produce heat to stimulate cellular production of ATP - which reduces recovery time by promoting healing, reducing pain, reducing swelling, and increasing range of motion. This can be requested during the 40 or 60 min sessions.
